SPRING SERIES FLY DATES
1. October 3rd & 4th, 2026
2. October 17th & 18th, 2026
3. October 31st & November 1st, 2026
4. November 14th & 15th, 2026
5. November 28th & 29th, 2026
SUMMER SERIES FLY DATES
1. December 12th & 13th, 2026 (Harry Shannon Old Bird Shield)
2. December 26th & 27th, 2026 (Long Day Fly)
3. January 9th & 10th, 2027 (Davey Warrener Young Bird Cup)
4. January 23rd & 24th, 2027
5. February 6th & 7th, 2027
6. February 20th & 21st, 2027
Please Note:
- A total of 11 fly dates in 2 seasons.
- In the Harry Shannon Old Bird Shield (December 12th & 13th), birds flown must have rings with year 2025 or prior.
- In the Davey Warrener Young Bird Cup (January 9th & 10th), birds flown must have rings with year 2026.
- Mixed year rung kits can be flown in all the other fly's (except for in the Harry Shannon Old Bird Shield and the Davey Warenner Cup as above).
- The winner of the Harry Shannon Old Bird Shield will receive the Rolling Shield and the winner of the Davey Warrener Cup will receive the Rolling Cup.
- All AFTU fly's will be aggregated and the member with the best aggregate hours for the total number of fly's will win the AFTU Trophy.
Sunday 24th June - AFTU BBQ hosted by Bogdan Vasil.
The Victorian AFTU boys turned out in force on Sunday 24th June to get together at the house of Bogdan Vasil to
share some great food, good conversation and plenty of tipplering ideas.
