2019/2020 Fly Schedule

Spring Fly Dates
1. 5th and 6th October, 2019
2. 19th and 20th October, 2019
3. 2nd and 3rd November, 2019
4. 16th and 17th November, 2019
5. 30th November and 1st December, 2019

Summer Fly Dates
1. 14th and 15th December, 2019 (Harry Shannon Shield)
2. 28th and 29th December, 2019 (Long Day Fly)
3. 11th and 12th January, 2020 (Davey Warrener Cup - Young Bird)
4. 25th and 26th January, 2020
5. 8th and 9th February, 2020
6. 22nd and 23rd February, 2020

  • In the young bird fly, birds flown should be rung with 2019 rings. The old bird fly, birds flown must be rung with 2018 or prior. A total number of 11 fly dates for 2 seasons.
  • Mix rung birds can be flown in all other fly's except the Harry Shannon shield and the Davey Warrener cup.
  • Winner of the Harry Shannon old bird fly, will get the rolling shield and winner of the Davey Warrener young bird fly will get the rolling cup.
  • All other AFTU fly's will be aggregated and the member with the best aggregate hours for the season will win the AFTU trophy.
